Hanging and care guide
A few notes on getting your print on the wall, and keeping it looking its best for years.
Hanging height
Center your print about 57 inches from the floor to the middle of the piece. That's eye level for most standing viewers, and the height galleries use as a rule of thumb. Over a sofa or console, leave 6 to 8 inches between the furniture and the bottom edge of the frame.
Wall placement
Pick a wall you pass often, not just one you sit across from. A hallway, a stairwell, or the wall behind a desk keeps the piece part of daily life rather than background decoration. Keep it out of direct sun and away from heat vents, since both fade paper over time.
Oak vs metal frame styling
The oak frame is warmer and reads well in a room with wood furniture, wool, or linen. The metal frame is cooler and cleaner, and suits a room with more glass, stone, or black hardware. Both use the same fine art print and the same ready-to-hang hardware, so the choice is about the room, not the piece inside.
Caring for the paper
Keep your print out of direct sunlight and away from damp rooms such as bathrooms. Dust the glass, or the paper edge on a loose print, with a dry, soft cloth. Don't use glass cleaner directly on an unframed print, and handle it by the edges to keep finger oils off the surface.
